In 1965 PAPPA BRAND ORIGINAL APPALAM was founded by Thiru.M.P. Veerapathira Pillai as a cottage business Letter on as an expansion in 1980 Shrimathi C. Krishnammal daughter in-law of Thiru.M.P. Veerapathirapillai renamed the concern as Sri.Meenakshi Appalam. As a dynamic women brought the concern known to clients outside of Tamilnadu. Over a period of 40 years with vast experience gained from his ancestors the third generation Thiru.V.C. Ravichandran stepped into this business on 1989 with a new banner named A.R.A.S. APPALAMS. We at A.R.A.S. APPALAMS have understood the need of quality products by overseas clients. We focused on export business and that extended the growth and turnover by regular supply to Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, Gulf, USA, UK, etc.

We have full fledged production capacity and storage facility to execute the merchandise at a short period. Full container load order is preferable and economical for importers. Pilferage and damages can be avoided if the orders are received in 20’ or 40’ container load basis as the cargo will be loaded at our premises by our experienced labourers.
